Dr. Jason K. Wallace (he/him) is a higher education scholar-practitioner born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. Grounded in more than a decade of professional practice, his research examines how colleges and universities cultivate student success, belonging, and pathways to graduate education, with particular attention to the experiences of Black students and first-generation scholars navigating higher education. Raised in a working-class community, he is deeply committed to helping ensure that higher education represents a meaningful and worthwhile investment for all students.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Public Relations and a master’s degree in Educational Administration from Texas Christian University, as well as a graduate certificate in Interdisciplinary Qualitative Studies and a Ph.D. in Education with an emphasis in College Student Affairs Administration from the University of Georgia.
He hopes this website catalyzes opportunities for collaboration, conversation, and connection.
